The internship requirement is meant to enhace the classroom education with practical, applied experience in the real world. This class is only available to upper level undergraduate Juniors and Seniors who have met the prerequisites. If you are a current student looking for specific course information

Internship Resources
The Department of Advertising has a file of almost 200 companies that have hosted our interns in the past. This
is a great place to start exploring possible internship opportunities.

We have compliled a list of approved ongoing and current internship opportunities.They are by no means the only internships available, but they are
quality internships available for those students looking for a position. Current postings can be found on the large board outside CMA 7.142 or at the Internship Postings website.

If you would like to post an internship, please submit a job description to internship@austin.utexas.edu, Attention: Internship Coordinator.
In the job description, please include:
Description of the company
Detailed description of internship duties
Number of hours estimated per week
Skills required (ie graphic design, statistics, writing, etc.)
Whether paid/unpaid
Contact information
*Please note that we do not accept internships which are more than 20% administrative/clerical work (answering phones, making coffee, etc.)
Once we have reviewed/approved the internship we will post it online and distribute it through e-mail to our current students. Please allow 2-3 business
