TexasInteractive Application The site's objective is simple. It should clearly and convincingly convey why the applicant should be admitted into the sequence. The site should demonstrate the applicant's existing technical skills, creativity, insight and ingenuity, as well as persuasive writing skills. A high degree of technical proficiency is not a requirement. A passion for advertising and its emerging role within interactive communication is required. The interactive industry demands the full spectrum of communication disciplines: graphics, copywriting, account planning, measurement and analysis, production, traffic, research, animation, sound and music, imaging, as well as media planning, buying and selling. There are no restrictions with respect to technical functionality or imagery, illustration, music, sound, animation or video. Sites should be submitted to Dr. Gary Wilcox via e-mail. Please include your name, UT student ID number (not your SSN), expected graduation date, as well as the site's URL within the body of the e-mail. TexasInteractive applications are accepted at any time from qualified students. The TexasInteractive Admissions Committee includes the following faculty members: |
