Four courses
are required to complete the TexasInteractive
sequence. Please contact any faculty member
by e-mail with questions or visit with
any of the TexasInteractive faculty in
person to discuss the sequence in detail.
The objectives of TexasInteractive sequence are to:
Attract innovative, adaptive and adventurous students.
Produce well-rounded strategic
thinkers capable of taking leadership
roles in the interactive and digital
communications industry.
Approach interactive advertising
from an integrated point-of-view with
respect to traditional media, creative,
resesarch, public relations and account
planning.
Our sequence objectives
are rooted in the three strategic goals
that drive the Department
of Advertising, the Texas
Creative Sequence and the Texas
Media Sequence.
To provide a quality educational experience for our students that
will optimize and encourage learning and which emphasizes the
development of excellent written and oral communication skills.
To contribute to the body of knowledge in the Advertising field
through research and publication by our faculty.
To maintain positive relations with key publics in our field, both
internally and externally.
