Students currently enrolled in High school should visit with the Freshman Admissions Center about admission into the University of Texas as an Advertising major. Please schedule appointments two weeks in advance.
Students currently enrolled at another institution

Students currently enrolled at another institution should visit with the Admissions Office about admission into the University of Texas as an Advertising major.
Students currently enrolled at the University of Texas as another major

Students who are currently enrolled at The University of Texas who want to change their major to Advertising must apply to become Advertising majors. Applications are accepted twice a year in the Fall and Spring. Please visit the College's Internal Transfer section.
Creative Sequence Admissions
A student is eligible to apply to Texas Creative after completion of ADV 325 Introduction to Creative Advertising with a C or above or while currently enrolled in the course. Applications are handed out in ADV 325 during the latter part of the semester and are also available in the Main Advertising office. If a student has completed ADV 325, contact the Advertising office regarding deadlines and dates.
Registration procedures are noted on postings of selected candidates. *Note: Applications are available after preregistration.
TexasMedia Sequence Admissions
You must be currently enrolled in or have previously taken ADV345J Introduction to Media Planning. Most students apply during the same semester that they take ADV345J. A letter grade of "B" or above is required for eligibility.
TexasInteractive Sequence Admissions
Admission to the undergraduate TexasInteractive sequence is based on the evaluation of a web site created solely by the applicant.
