Undergraduate Courses
Students should be careful in planning for graduation. Any student enrolled in an advertising or public relations course who does not attend the first class meeting may be dropped from the course. Students must contact their professors if an absence is anticipated.

Make-up Policy
The Department of Advertising's policy is not to grant students an opportunity to make up tests or assignments due to absences. If Faculty members at their discretion decide to grant a student an opportunity to make up an assignment or a test, the Department's policy is to attach a penalty as a percentage of the grade for that make-up assignment. The penalty may vary at the discretion of the faculty member. The Department supports its faculty members right to establish exceptions to this rule in their course syllabi as they may see fit, provided such exceptions do not violate University policy.
