Justin is a first year doctoral student and currently a Teaching Assistant and Doctoral Fellow with UT's Center for Health Communication. Additionally, he has worked with many UT student-athletes as a Strategy Tutor with Intercollegiate Athletics. As a master’s student, he researched sport sponsorship and the effects of advertising partnerships on NBA jerseys on the court and in socially responsible settings. Additional research interests include ethics and leadership, CSR and cause-related marketing, consumer behavior and behavioral economics, and entrepreneurship and new venture marketing. Current research projects include an interdisciplinary exploration of psychology, philosophy, and communication frameworks in applied ethics and health communication topics. Personal interests include exploring local nature spots, sports including baseball, basketball, and golf, architecture and midcentury design, blues music, and vintage amplifier and audio restoration.
