Faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students are committed to research that explores how communication can inform diversity, inclusion, and equity in advertising and public relations. Projects are fundamentally multidisciplinary in nature, and engage with practice, theory and pedagogy. Research is methodologically and paradigmatically diverse, assessing the social, cultural, political and technological landscapes and how they intersect with diversity, equity and inclusion within communication. The resulting body of work is theory-driven and has significant practical implications for strategic communication practitioners.
