Cassandre Giguere Alvarado is Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and also holds an appointment in the Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations. Alvarado has a strong commitment toward helping all students succeed, as well as deep expertise in undergraduate administration and support at UT Austin.
Since 2013, she has led Student Success Initiatives and Enrollment Analytics & Research in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, leading the campus-wide initiative to improve four-year graduation rates and student success outcomes through a comprehensive, data-driven approach.
Prior to that, Dr. Alvarado was the inaugural Assistant Dean in the School of Undergraduate Studies. She also created the FIG program while Director of Learning Communities in the Division of Student Affairs.
Alvarado is a proud Moody College alumna, who received her B.J. degree with a focus on Public Relations, as well as both her Ph.D. and M.Ed. at UT Austin.
