Tianshu Du is a doctoral student at Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations. She gained an educational background in both interactive media design and media effect study. Her research focuses on how sense-making occurs between the public and artificial intelligence. Specifically, it explores human–AI collaboration in creative contexts and how the public is persuaded by and makes sense of AI technologies. Her research has received the Top Paper Award from Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), International Communication Association (ICA) Beijing Region, and International Public Relations Research Conference (IPRRC).
