Texas Creative Students presented with D&AD New Blood Awards.

Notwithstanding a global pandemic, the Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations students are still changing the world!

This Spring, Lisa Bennett, Chief Creative Officer and member of the Moody College of Communication Advisory Council, teamed up with Professor Ryan Romero to brief and guide his P4 class in the development of entries for the D&AD New Blood Awards. The New Blood Awards, as stated by the D&AD board, “are for identifying, showcasing and nurturing tomorrow’s creative superstars.”

Six of Romero’s TXC students were awarded three D&AD Wood Pencils. JoAnn Sciarrino, Director of the Stan Richards School noted, “It is an outstanding accomplishment for our Texas Creative students to be presented with a Pencil Award of any caliber being that their work was chosen from a pool of over 3000 submissions across over 60 different countries!”

We would like to congratulate these talented Texas Creative students on this prestigious recognition. Receiving a D&AD Wood Pencil means their work was among the best in the world for their respective briefs. The winners, along with their submissions are listed below, congrats!
