Hyunji Kim is a doctoral student at the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations at UT Austin. Her research primarily explores the intersection of media psychology and technology. She currently investigates algorithm awareness in consumer profiling and analyzes how varying levels of anthropomorphism in virtual influencers affect media users' perceptions of technology, consumer behavior, attitudes toward digital entities, and advertising.
