Creative director/copywriter Matt McCutchin spent over two decades at creative powerhouses including DDB, Deutsch, Ammirati & Puris, Arnold, and Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners.
He’s crafted award-winning work for dozens of iconic brands, including Volkswagen, IKEA, Snapple, Midas, Compaq, Subaru, GM, Bank of America, Chicago Tribune, and State Farm, among others.
A second-generation Longhorn, Matt returned to the Forty Acres as a full-time lecturer in 2006, though he’s also taught at the top-rated Miami Ad School, WVU’s online IMC graduate program, and Florida’s prestigious Ringling College of Art + Design. Recently, he served as a One Show judge.
His legion of former students (almost 2,600) include many of today’s industry leaders.
He also has a entrepreneurial side: he’s built a weekly newspaper, an online ad school, and a “virtual ad agency” that serviced a $50 million national account without a traditional office.
Matt is currently busy creating innovative new courses for the Stan Richards School curriculum, including Brand Storytelling and Digital Graphic Communication.
