Yucong Ma is a second-year Ph.D. student in Advertising and Public Relations at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests center on corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication, AI-mediated strategic communication, and human-computer interaction.
Her current research explores how emerging communication technologies, including virtual influencers, AI agents, and chatbots, shape public perceptions of stakeholder responses to CSR initiatives and corporate social advocacy messages. She is especially interested in how organizations can communicate social responsibility initiatives in ways that are ethical, transparent, and meaningful to stakeholders.
