Brand Marketing & Analytics in China
The highly-lauded Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations will partner with Ogilvy & Mather China to offer students the opportunity to study brand & advertising analytics in the fastest growing media market in the world. Students will learn both theory and practice in brand & advertising analytics. Immersing with the largest brand, advertising and technology leaders in China (Alibaba, Tencent, Ogilvy, Nestle, Unilever, Starcom, OMD, Amazon & more), students will also earn six 'petition-free' UT credits.
Coursework includes ADV345J Brand & Advertising Media Foundations and ADV377 Digital Marketing Metrics. As the current ADV377 course is limited to those who gain acceptance into the esteemed Texas Media & Analytics program, the program in China marks the first time non-majors and non-TM&A students may gain access to this critical marketing content.
In addition to cutting-edge curriculum, the program also includes a three-day cultural excursion to Beijing and visits to the Great Wall of China, Yangtze River, Oriental Pearl Tower, Forbidden City, the Emperor’s Summer Palace, and the Temple of Heaven. As an added bonus, the program's dates include the Dragon Boat Festival, where students can engage in the one-of-a-kind two-day national celebration!
