Moody College announces two new minors in advertising and radio-television-film
On the heels of an announcement about a new minor and field of study in digital game industries, Moody College of Communication is proud to announce two additional minors in advertising and radio-television-film (RTF). Starting in August, students from throughout The University of Texas who are enrolled in the 2026-2028 catalog will be able to declare one of these minors.
“The current demand for both the advertising and radio-television-film majors is huge,” Cassandre Giguere Alvarado, Moody College’s senior associate dean for undergraduate education and teaching excellence said. “We know there are more students who want exposure to these two disciplines, more than we can accommodate in the majors. Creating these minors gives an opportunity for students who are in other programs, both inside and outside of Moody, to get a really solid foundation in those disciplines.”
