Jacob is a second-year doctoral student in the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations. He received both his master's and bachelor's degree from the College of Media & Communication at Texas Tech University, and grew up in Lubbock, Tx most of his life. His research interests include understanding and predicting behaviors of public understanding of science and technology, persuasion through digital media interactivity, and exploring how video games can teach us about science, health, the environment, and risk. When he’s not reading and working on projects, he likes to ride his bike, play video games, and spend time with his wife and cat.
